About The Position

The Graphic Design Intern will work within the Communications Department to support creative production and assist in maintaining the Studio Museum’s brand and visual identity. They will work alongside the Senior Graphic Designer and Junior Graphic Designer to produce compelling, consistent, and brand-aligned assets for the Studio Museum’s diverse channels, with a specific focus on digital content. They will learn about implementing institutional design systems, maintaining brand consistency across all audience touch points, project managing design initiatives, and organizing and maintaining design files. This internship is designed for mature undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates interested in careers in design, digital marketing, arts communications, or related fields.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Excitement about working in a tight-knit, collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
  • Aptitude for visual storytelling
  • Passion for current trends within the design and art world
  • Authorized to work in the United States
