About The Position

The Watts Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience and insight into business operations. Interns will contribute to daily operations, network with professionals across various departments, and expand their skills. This role reports to Marketing and is based in North Andover, MA, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

  • Current student (junior or senior status)
  • Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong visual design, typography, composition, and layout skills
  • Ability to communicate technical or complex information through clear and compelling visual design
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with analytics, AI-assisted creative tools (CoPilot, Adobe Firefly, etc.), and digital asset management platforms
  • Interest in e-commerce, digital merchandising, consumer behavior, or digital marketing
  • Basic familiarity with Amazon product detail pages and A+ Content is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of A+ Content, product infographics, enhanced imagery, and other e-commerce creative assets.
  • Adapt creative assets for use across retailer and distributor websites.
  • Translate technical product features, applications, installation information, and value propositions into clear, customer-friendly visual communication.
  • Support optimization of existing product detail pages by identifying opportunities to improve imagery and visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with E-Commerce, Product Management, Marketing Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure content is accurate and consistent with Watts brand standards.
  • Assist with image editing, retouching, resizing, layout development, and preparation of production-ready digital assets.
  • Help organize and maintain digital creative assets and project files.
  • Support competitive research and benchmarking of e-commerce content and digital merchandising best practices.
  • Assist in measuring the impact of content changes using available e-commerce performance data, including engagement, conversion, traffic, and sales trends.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the manager of product commercialization or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency).
