About The Position

Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking a Graphic Design Summer Intern to partner with the Brand Design and Sales teams. The intern will research best-in-class sales, sell-in, and pitch materials and presentations, then develop ideas and materials for Tillamook. The work may span disciplines such as 3D event design, motion design, and potentially sound and scent design, subject to research, imagination, and budget. The position is based in the company's Portland, Oregon office and is part of TCCA’s 10- to 12-week Summer Internship Program for graduate and undergraduate students. The program includes opportunities to learn about the cooperative’s heritage, visit farmer-owner farms, and take part in tastings, a cooking class, workshops, and sales market tours.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program and not scheduled to graduate in the semester prior to the internship.
• Experience with graphic design layout, photo manipulation, and output for print and digital.
• Organized and able to convert sales data into compelling visual content.
• Skilled at typographic layout.
• Comfortable presenting work and receiving feedback positively.
• Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred fields of study include graphic design, web design, and multimedia studies.
• Experience with After Effects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research best-in-class sales, sell-in, and pitch materials and presentations and develop them for Tillamook.
• Create sell-in sheets and other sales materials in print, interactive, and digital media.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate data sets and insights into effective creative presentations that drive sales results.
• Research emerging technology trends in the CPG space and identify how to apply them.
• Support food service projects, including landing page development, art direction, photo shoots, and other sales materials.
• Take on other graphic design-related projects as needed.
