About The Position

The Graphic Design Intern supports Park in a Truck community engagement and planning efforts through visual research and preparation of presentation materials. The intern identifies and evaluates imagery that supports project goals, helps develop and organize image boards for community meetings, workshops, and stakeholder presentations, and works collaboratively with the director and project team to communicate design concepts and planning recommendations. The role also maintains image libraries and assists with formatting and distributing visual materials for meetings and public outreach.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Entry-level experience.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
• Photoshop skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify, collect, and evaluate images that support project goals, planning initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
• Develop and organize visual image boards and presentation materials for community meetings, workshops, and stakeholder presentations.
• Collaborate with project team members to select and arrange images that communicate design concepts, project ideas, and planning recommendations.
• Maintain and organize image libraries, ensuring visual resources are current, relevant, and accessible.
• Assist with preparing, formatting, and distributing visual materials for meetings and public outreach activities.
• Support community engagement and planning activities with visual content that enhances communication and understanding among stakeholders.
• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson’s values.
