About The Position

This position is in the Advocacy & Grants Unit within the Division of Victim Services. The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or another related field; or
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of administrative experience as described above.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical reviews of grant applications to ensure compliance with the grant program.
  • Conduct on-site monitoring, desk audits, and reviews for program compliance and prepares reports of findings and corrective action needed.
  • Review and recommend for approval change requests and invoices submitted by subgrantees.
  • Provide technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.
  • Monitor budget, expenditure, and reporting requirements of subgrantees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of grant management, including budget, expenditure, report, and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
  • Prepare periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.
  • Complete special assignments and perform related duties as assigned.
