Join the YMCA of the Black Hills as a Grants & Impact Reporting Manager to use your writing, organizational, and analytical skills to help advance a mission that strengthens local communities. This role is a key partner to YMCA leadership and program teams, assisting in identifying and securing funding, managing grants from application through award, and communicating the impact of the Y's work. The position involves leading the full grant lifecycle, including researching funding opportunities, developing proposals, managing compliance, tracking budgets, coordinating reporting, and identifying renewal opportunities. You will collaborate with program directors, branch leaders, finance, marketing, and administration to align funding with programs and strategic priorities. The role requires understanding funder priorities, program strengths, and effectively communicating the value of the YMCA's work through program outcomes, participant data, success stories, and financial information. A strategic and detail-oriented approach is needed for maintaining a grants calendar and database, monitoring deadlines, supporting compliance, tracking budgets, and coordinating outcome data collection. Building strong relationships is crucial, serving as an internal resource on grant development, compliance, and impact reporting, and collaborating with staff to gather necessary information. This involves connecting people, information, and opportunity to secure resources and demonstrate meaningful results.
