The Grants Facilitator & Writer contributes to the development, maintenance and advancement of research projects at the Institute for Global Health at BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital (IGH-CW) in collaboration with the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics. This position is responsible for a variety of duties related to scientific writing and coordinating the submission of grant funding proposals, as well as preparing written and communication materials for IGH-CW. This position plays a central role in grant seeking, proposal development, and strategic research support, helping faculty, researchers, and partners design high-impact global health projects and secure competitive funding from national and international sources. Responsibilities include but are not limited to writing, identifying, developing, and preparing academic manuscripts, research grant and other academic proposals, letters of intent, background documentation, research program rationales, ethics submissions, budgets and budget justifications, and other promotional documents. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position has been filled.
