About The Position

Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Grants Coordinator to support our fundraising and grant management efforts. This role is ideal for a strong writer who is passionate about advancing maternal and child health, early childhood development, and health equity. Reporting to the Director of Grants and Foundation Relations, the Grants Coordinator will play a key role in researching funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, maintaining grant records, and coordinating agency-wide grant activities.

  • Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience
  • 1-3 years of nonprofit experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fundraising software such as Salesforce is a plus
  • Grant writing experience preferred
  • Experience in maternal health, child health, public health, or related nonprofit work is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Write and coordinate high-quality grant proposals and reports
  • Research new funding opportunities and prospective funders
  • Maintain and update the grants database, dashboards, and grant calendar
  • Track proposal, submission, and reporting deadlines
  • Collaborate with programs and leadership teams to gather information for grant applications
  • Maintain grant-related organizational documents and application materials
  • Present funding opportunities and participate in grants team meetings
  • Support state charitable registrations and other grant-related administrative functions
  • Represent MCC at community events, meetings, and fundraisers as needed
