The City of Antioch is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and strategic professional to serve as its next Grants Coordinator. This position will play a critical role in researching and identifying grant funding opportunities, pursuing new revenue sources, coordinating grant applications, and managing the administration and compliance of awarded funds in support of the City’s priorities. The ideal candidate will bring strong research, communication, project management, and analytical skills, along with a proactive approach to securing resources that enhance City programs, services, and community initiatives. Under general supervision, the Grants Coordinator performs professional-level work in the research, identification, development, coordination, administration, monitoring, and compliance of federal, state, regional, local, and private grant-funded programs and projects. Responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, coordinating grant development efforts across city departments, preparing and submitting competitive grant applications, administering awarded grants, monitoring compliance and performance outcomes, and providing technical expertise related to grant funding and resource development. Serves as the city's subject matter expert on grant opportunities, funding strategies, and grant compliance.
