About The Position

Centralina Regional Council is seeking a Grants & Contracts Administrator to lead grant compliance, financial reporting, contract administration, and funding oversight from application through closeout. This role is crucial for managing pre-award and post-award grant administration for federal, state, and other funding sources, developing and monitoring grant budgets, financial reports, reimbursement requests, invoices, and receivables. The position ensures compliance with grant regulations, coordinates grant application reviews, administers the organization's contract process, conducts compliance reviews, monitors grant performance, and supports audit and closeout activities. Additionally, the role involves researching funding opportunities and collaborating with departments to support successful grant management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in grants management, budgeting, financial administration, compliance, auditing, or related finance functions.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state grant requirements, financial reporting, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Keen attention to compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic grant, contract, and financial management systems.
  • A valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Managing pre-award and post-award grant administration for federal, state, and other funding sources.
  • Developing and monitoring grant budgets, financial reports, reimbursement requests, invoices, and receivables.
  • Ensuring compliance with grant regulations, including 2 CFR Part 200, and organizational policies.
  • Coordinating grant application reviews, budget development, and required supporting documentation.
  • Administering the organization's contract process, including agreement routing, tracking, execution, and record maintenance.
  • Conducting compliance reviews, monitor grant performance, and support audit and closeout activities.
  • Researching funding opportunities and collaborate with departments to support successful grant management.
