Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Grants & Compliance Team, ensuring all federal, state, and discretionary grant programs administered by the Office of Economic Opportunity comply with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. This position serves as the agency's subject matter expert on federal grant compliance, particularly 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards). Reports to the Deputy Finance Administrator. The position is grant-funded and employment is contingent upon the availability of funding. Arizona’s Rural Health Transformation Program is supported by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as a part of a financial assistance award totaling $166,988,955.92 with 100 percent funded by CMS/HHS. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
