About The Position

You will oversee accounting processes to ensure compliance with the last approved Finance Procedures. You will report to the Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 4 years directly related experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, federal regulations, and organization's procedures as they relate to financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 3+ years of experience in supervisory role or completed management training.
• Basic data entry skills.
• Four years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of accountants in the maintenance and preparation of accounting ledgers, journal entries, invoices, and financial statements.
• Review account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Oversee the daily monitoring of individual development goals set out for employees.
• Manage scheduling and leave requests.
• Evaluate reports.
• Recommend improvements to training, controls and departments procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
