Grant Specialist
About The Position
As the Grant Specialist, you will be part of the Advancement Team providing project management of the grants program for Tanager. This role involves researching prospective resources, managing grant submission, reporting, building relationships with grantors and evaluating impact. Some examples of essential functions of the role are, Responsible for the development of grants program including researching grant opportunities and coordinating grant submissions that meet goals of Tanager operations and program support. Monitor, evaluate and report on grant goals indicating grants pending, awarded and declined. Provide analysis on grant program goals indicating trends of growth and areas in need of improvement Communicate effectively with program staff regarding compliance needs Develop, cultivate and sustain relationships with grantees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism Communications or a related field
Responsibilities
