About The Position

The Grant Project Administrative Assistant will be a highly skilled professional. This position is essential to manage aspects of the grant including filing quarterly, biannual, and yearly reports and keeping track of the program statistics provided by the demographic sheets from the nurses. They will also submit requests for reimbursement to the financial officer with Augusta County. They will keep the Forensic Program Coordinator informed of monies available for education, travel and certification testing. They will be responsible for timely coordination and application of approaching grant deadlines. This position will be privy to Protected Health Information (PHI) and other confidential information about board members, donors, team members, patients, business, and community leaders. This confidential data and information must be held in strict confidence to maintain trust and legal obligations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Professional demeanor with staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, highly organized and self-directed
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with peers and those in authority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Grant Professional (GPC) or Certified Proposal Writer (CPW)
  • Experience as grant writer, monitor, evaluator and or performance reporter

Responsibilities

  • Manage aspects of the grant including filing quarterly, biannual, and yearly reports.
  • Keep track of program statistics provided by demographic sheets from nurses.
  • Submit requests for reimbursement to the financial officer with Augusta County.
  • Keep the Forensic Program Coordinator informed of monies available for education, travel and certification testing.
  • Responsible for timely coordination and application of approaching grant deadlines.
  • Identify potential grant opportunities that closely align with the mission and strategic priorities of Augusta Health.
  • Collaborate to receive accurate data, develop project/program budgets and other information needed for compelling narratives and proposal development.
  • Consistently meet application submission deadlines.
  • Manage internal granting process, ensuring timely use and reporting of funds.
  • Track the life cycle of all external grant awards, ensuring appropriate monitoring and evaluation, reporting and timeline for resubmission.
  • Monitor all recurring grants, collaborate with grant recipients to submit timely progress updates, amendments, and final reports to funders.
  • Ensure performance metrics are met.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
