About The Position

Collaborative Partners Initiative seeks a motivated individual to join our team as a Grant and RFP Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in grant writing, fundraising, and nonprofit development through structured training and mentorship. Requirements

Proficiency in using computers, email, and the Google Suite
Interest in nonprofit development and fundraising
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Support the grant identification process and proposal creation, including drafting, editing, and finalizing proposals and related documents
Assist in the preparation of budgets and accompanying documentation
Attend client and internal meetings related to proposal development
Support the development of fundraising pathways, sponsorships, and requests
Assist in research and identification of new funding opportunities
Participate in organizing fundraising events and preparing materials
Foster positive relationships with funders and community partners
Attend and actively participate in team meetings
Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Contribute effectively to team projects and independently manage tasks
Participate in company directed training and professional development
