The Senior Grant Accountant is responsible for the financial management, accounting, compliance, reporting, and oversight of federal, state, tribal, and private grant awards supporting healthcare and community programs throughout the Norton Sound region. This position serves as a subject matter expert on grant accounting and compliance, ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), funding agency regulations, and organizational policies. As a key member of the Finance team, the Senior Grant Accountant works closely with program managers, finance team, and external funding agencies to support the organization's mission of providing quality healthcare services to Alaska Native and American Indian communities. The position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a complex portfolio of grants and contracts.
