About The Position

St. John Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Grandkids Daycare Substitute Teacher to provide quality education when a regular teacher is absent. The substitute follows lesson plans, manages the classroom, and maintains a safe, positive learning environment so students can continue their education without interruption. The role may involve working in different classrooms with different students, communicating with staff and parents as needed, and maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
• Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
