About The Position

Cargill is hiring a Grain Plant Operator in its Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. The role performs facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain. It also involves basic equipment maintenance and operator care, customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This is a full-time, second-shift position paying $19.50–$22.00 per hour, plus a $2.00-per-hour second-shift differential. The role requires working in varied weather and industrial or agricultural settings, including elevated areas. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required with advance notice. Relocation reimbursement is not provided.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in various weather, industrial, and agricultural settings.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.
