About The Position

This role involves receiving, shipping, handling, and monitoring grain. The employee will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Key tasks include accurately receiving, locating, and transferring materials, as well as loading and unloading them from various containers using appropriate tools and vehicles. The position also requires participation in quality improvement efforts and performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction
• Must pass a drug screen upon job offer

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner
• Load and unload materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task
• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
