About The Position

This role involves receiving, shipping, handling, and monitoring grain. The employee will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks as necessary to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The position requires good communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and self-motivation to complete tasks independently. Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment drug tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner
• Load and unload materials onto and from a variety of containers including trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays using appropriate tools
• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
