- Develop a plasmid construct for CRISPR-Cas9
- Perform tissue culture of rice seeds
- Conduct Agrobacterium-based transformation
- Analyze gene-edited lines using Sanger sequencing
- Evaluate mutant lines for resistance to blast isolates
