About The Position
The Research Assistant will work under supervision and will be responsible for assisting in running and managing on-going research projects.
Requirements
- Enrolled at least half-time, 3 credit hours per semester for graduates.
- Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 3.0 for graduate students.
- Must meet all other requirements as stated in TAMIU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAPP).
Nice To Haves
- GIS, and Remote sensing analysis
- Data analysis in R or a similar platform
- Statistical analysis
- Bioacoustics
- Field work in Ecology
Responsibilities
- Research and collect data through complex techniques and procedures.
- Assist with data management and perform basic statistical analyses.
- Develop assessment and evaluation tools.
- Other related duties as assigned.
