About The Position

This is a 2026 graduate opportunity with Finatal, a leading executive search business specializing in Private Equity searches across North America. Finatal places c-suite talent into funds and portfolio companies, partnering with businesses at all stages of the investment cycle to build successful leadership teams. The role is within the Interim Practice, where you will work closely with the Partner to execute technology, operations, and data mandates. This position offers a platform to learn and engage with clients and candidates in the Private Equity landscape.

Requirements

You will be a 2026 Graduate and looking to step into an executive search role.
Experience in a client facing role is desirable.
We're looking for someone confident engaging with senior clients.
You will be curious, and genuinely interested to deepen your understanding of Private Equity.
A high-achiever with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
Thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Must be able to commute to our Manhattan office 4 days/week.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with CTOs, Heads of Data, Chief of Staff at private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Build and manage a high-caliber network of c-suite professionals on an interim and perm basis.
Source talent using a mix of platforms – LinkedIn, job boards, our CRM, networking, and direct outreach.
Conduct initial candidate screening calls, as well as follow up meetings (face to face and virtual) to understand each candidate’s experience.
Match top candidates with the right opportunities, ensuring both technical fit and cultural alignment.
Building relationships with founders, senior executives, and investors to understand their hiring needs and their wider strategy.
Negotiating offers and supporting successful placements.
Supporting senior consultants on client meetings and business development initiatives.
