About The Position
Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is a health system dedicated exclusively to medical rehabilitation, providing inpatient and outpatient care for people at every stage of recovery. Our mission is to enhance health, maximize function, and transform lives. The Graduate Patient Care Technician performs various patient care activities under the direction of an RN, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and skills within a supportive, interdisciplinary team environment. With an average patient length of stay of 25-30 days, PCTs build strong relationships and play a crucial role in patient recovery.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of Gaylord Hospital's Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program required prior to hire.
- Proof of Certification testing date required or must provide prior to hire.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of patient care activities.
- Works under the direction of the RN.
- Provides valuable exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and skills.
- Plays a key role in the recovery of our patients.
