About The Position

Provides basic elder care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Uses an elder-centered approach based on elder-centered principles to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. The CNA/Universal Worker provides routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with each Elder’s assessment, choices, and care plan, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, to maintain the highest degree of quality of care.

Requirements

• Iowa Certified Nurse’s Aide.
• Active status on the Direct Care Worker’s Registry.
• Maintain valid certification.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the medical field preferred.
