The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for Graduate Nursing Adjuncts to support the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Adjuncts are part-time instructional professionals who contribute specialized expertise in advanced nursing practice and support the academic preparation of graduate nursing students. Graduate adjuncts may teach didactic, clinical, laboratory, or online courses and collaborate with course coordinators and program leadership to ensure alignment with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and evidence-based nursing practice. Responsibilities include facilitating student learning, evaluating student performance, maintaining course materials within the university’s learning management system, and providing guidance and mentorship to graduate nursing students. Adjuncts are expected to support the College’s caring-based philosophy and integrate clinical expertise, scholarship, and professional experience into the educational environment. The College is internationally recognized for its commitment to caring science—expanding the science of caring, practicing the art of nursing, studying its meaning, and living it in academic and clinical practice. Adjunct appointments are part-time and assigned per course, per semester, based on program needs and enrollment.
