About The Position
The Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque is offering shadowing opportunities for Graduate Nurses to gain valuable hands-on experience before taking their nursing boards. This role allows learning from experienced nurses in a supportive and friendly environment. Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or awaiting licensure number.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse after an orientation period, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and patient, resident, and family satisfaction.
- Manage patient care by performing nursing assessments and delegating aspects of care to LPNs and Nursing Assistants.
- Collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
- Communicate patient information with assigned staff during and between shifts.
