About The Position
MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Oncology units, offering various hours and shifts. The center emphasizes taking great care of its Registered Nurses, providing support, opportunities for professional growth, and a strong focus on employee well-being. The Oncology Registered Nurses have the chance to practice at the top of their license, utilizing research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities are provided through an Oncology Nurse Residency program. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ASN/BSN)
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Practice at the top of their license using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Oncology Nurse Residency program.
