About The Position
MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Orthopedic units across multiple hours and shifts. At MidState Medical Center, we don’t just take great care of our patients; we take great care of our Orthopedic Registered Nurses too. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Orthopedic Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply. MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, MidState Medical Center provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
- Complete Orthopedic Nurse Residency.
