Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking candidates for a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Manager to oversee the operational and administrative functions of its residency and fellowship programs. The primary office location is the main medical center campus in Moreno Valley; however, occasional travel to other sites throughout the county will be required. The Graduate Medical Education Program Manager is a management-level classification that reports to the Director of Medical Staff Services. Incumbents are responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of GME programs, including the supervision of GME Coordinators and related staff. Through subordinate staff, the Graduate Medical Education Program Manager ensures the timely and compliant execution of credentialing, privileging, and provider enrollment processes while maintaining adherence to all program requirements, accreditation standards, and applicable regulations. This classification is accountable for efficient program administration and the coordination of activities that support the overall success of graduate medical education programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a medical education environment, demonstrated success working with physicians and medical leadership, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and experience supervising, leading, and training staff. The schedule will be a 9/80 with one telecommuting day per week after successful completion of the initial 6-month training period. This class has been deemed eligible for the Performance Recognition Plan as set forth under Article 3, Section 311 of the County Management Resolution. Program eligibility requires employees to be in a leadership position, manage other employees or programs, and have significant influence on the achievement of organizational objectives.
