About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Graduate Engineer - Transportation to join our Mobility Service Line in the Appleton, WI office. We will provide you with the mentoring and team environment that will allow you to grow and learn in your professional career. This position will give you an opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects for state, county, and municipal clients. You will work on transportation planning, design, and traffic analysis with an emphasis on highway and intersection design projects. What does it mean to serve communities for over 100 years? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering by May 2024 required
  • Interest to grow in transportation engineering required
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate has previous consulting internship experience
  • Successfully passed FE exam preferred
  • Microstation or AutoCAD experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • CAD work and 3D design on intersection and highway improvement projects
  • Computer modeling of intersection capacity and results reporting
  • Public meeting presentation displays and public engagement

  • All full-time employees will receive, at minimum, 17 days (that’s 3+ weeks!) of paid time off in the first year alone.
  • MSA offers time off pay for 8 holidays in every calendar year.
  • Both parents will receive 2 weeks of paid time off and birth parents are eligible for additional paid time off under MSA’s Short Term Paid Leave. The paid 2 weeks of time also applies to adoption and foster care placement.
  • MSA pays 100% for all employees to have life insurance, long-term disability insurance and short-term disability insurance.
  • MSA is an ESOP S-Corporation, which means that our company is 100% owned by us! Through the ESOP, eligible employees receive MSA stock in the form of company shares as a percentage of compensation, at no cost to the employee.
