Dewberry has an immediate opening in our New York, NY office for a Graduate Engineer - Mechanical Engineer with 1+ years of design experience in the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. and Infrastructure support.

Requirements

• BSME Degree from an ABET Accredited College or University.
• Experience with AutoCad MEP a must.
• Strong academic technical background.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to commute into NYC.
• Possess an active driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of design experience in the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. and Infrastructure support.
• Experience with Revit MEP software.
• EIT certification.
• Internship, part time, or full-time experience in the MEP engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior engineers in HVAC systems design, sustainable design, and energy efficiency for buildings.
• Assisting with other building systems and the construction process in the various engineering disciplines practiced by Dewberry such as plumbing and fire protection systems design, construction services, field surveying and administrative duties.
