About The Position

This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. The Educational Assistant will provide extra help and tutoring assistance outside of class time to graduate students enrolled in residential ITEC 610 Applied Managerial Statistics for Fall 2026.

Requirements

• Graduate AU student.
• Successful completion of a course in statistics (preferably ITEC 610 at KSB) at the graduate level (grade of B+ or better).
• Very good quantitative skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Hold residential office hours for one to two hours per week for 15 weeks.
• Hold additional residential office hours on weekends for help during three exam periods.
• Other duties assigned.
