Under the supervision of a member of the faculty, the Graduate Assistant (GA) will provide research support that furthers the mission of Florida Polytechnic University.   • Demonstrate flexibility in assigned duties and move comfortably between different assignments and new projects as they emerge.
  • Must be admitted or enrolled as a graduate-level student at Florida Polytechnic University.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.
  • This position requires a criminal background check.
  • Required research training certificates completion from CITI may be necessary to work in the Florida Poly research labs.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out research tasks as assigned by the supervisor and in a timely manner.
  • Properly document results and research findings.
  • Work with other research staff on projects.
  • Prepare drafts of articles for publication.
  • Participate in research meetings and collaborations.
  • Report results as necessary.
  • Assist with other work, as necessary.
