About The Position
Graduate Assistantship Appointment: financial payment for part-time work in teaching, administration or research. Appointments are made for the program's second year for an average of 10 hours of work per week. GAs work directly with students and faculty in this position to provide additional learning and tutoring opportunities for students in the first year to the professional program. They provide lab sessions, group and individual tutoring sessions and assist in grading low stakes assignments.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University
- Completion of PY1 of the DPT program with strong academic record
- Experience in teaching or in working with other students
Responsibilities
- Provide lab sessions
- Provide group and individual tutoring sessions
- Assist in grading low stakes assignments
