The Graduate Assistant will work on an interdisciplinary team that supports the clinical services provided to children and adolescents in the community through the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program at Dell Medical School. The Graduate Assistant will support the clinical support team, including care coordination staff and operational staff, to ensure that TCHATT is providing quality customer service and clinical service delivery. TCHATT provides telemedicine or telehealth programs to school districts to help identify and assess the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents and provide access to mental health services. This position is state-funded by the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), which was created to address urgent mental health challenges and improve the mental health care system in Texas for children, adolescents, and perinatal women. This position has a start date of 8/31/2026 and an end date of 12/31/2026, with potential for renewal based on funding, performance, and progress. The purpose of this position is to support TCHATT patients, guardians, and schools by providing care coordination and operational support services, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to improve a child’s overall functioning. The Graduate Assistant will provide support with scheduling, operations, care coordination, referral, data tracking and management, independent projects, procedural operations, and presentation materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently with attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
