The Computer and Information Science Department is seeking a Graduate Assistant. This role involves researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs, with a focus on cryptography. Responsibilities include testing and evaluating new cryptography programs, identifying and implementing modifications to existing RSA programs, writing efficient code, determining operational practicality, developing quality assurance procedures, deploying software tools, and maintaining existing systems. The assistant will work closely with other developers and professors. Additionally, the role requires presenting the outcomes of the experience at Celebrate Gannon and/or other college-determined venues. Key competencies include critical thinking (multi-tasking in a fast-paced autonomous environment) and professionalism (prioritizing and completing tasks to achieve organizational goals).
