About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as the Wrestling Operations Graduate Assistant. This position plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive Division I wrestling program. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in all facets of program administration while helping ensure the efficient operation of the wrestling program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students
  • Ability to work required hours (FT – 50% - 20 hours per week) with regular attendance
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and problem solving
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Teamworks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the head coach with all administrative aspects of the program
  • Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate team schedules, calendars and logistical planning using Teamworks
  • Assist with travel planning, transportation, lodging and itineraries
  • Prepare and organize practice, competition and recruiting materials
  • Coordinate team meals and other operational logistics as assigned
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for coaching staff
  • Assist with competition day operations and event management
  • Other duties as assigned
