Graduate Assistant - Women's Track and Field/Cross Country
About The Position
Job Summary: Assist the department with a variety of duties. A Graduate Assistant will gain essential work and educational experience needed to obtain full-time employment in their chosen field. These tasks are to be performed in a manner that professionally, cordially, and efficiently assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Description of Job Duties: Oversee team practices Oversee strength and conditioning workouts Recruit on and off campus Travel with teams Oversee equipment inventory Other duties as assigned Terms of Employment: Employment at will Part-time, temporary Reports to Cross County/Track Head Coach Safety and job-related trainings will be completed as instructed Eligible to receive a tuition waiver and stipend each semester A Graduate Assistant should be working at a level higher than an undergraduate student employee. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed
- Admission to Graduate Study degree program at SWOSU
- Working in field of study
