About The Position

The Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting the Head Coach, primarily with recruiting, organizing and running practices, fundraising, promotional activities, and other related assigned responsibilities. A successful candidate will be a positive role model to our student-athletes on and off the court, exhibit strong leadership, and strive to develop those leadership capabilities within our student-athletes. Responsibilities also include: Monitoring and assisting student-athletes with academic success Effectively recruiting quality student-athletes Assisting the head coach with any/all aspects of the program. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and acceptance into the Lakeland University graduate school program
Experience coaching soccer
Acceptable driving record
Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
Ability to prioritize office workflow and make effective administrative decisions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
Demonstrated ability to tactfully and effectively communicate (written and verbal) with a variety of individuals
Strong critical thinking skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products
Demonstrates organizational ability, and attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
