About The Position
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) is looking for a Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant who will serve under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will assist in a number of capacities including practice planning and execution, coordinating operations and travel for the program, recruiting, community service opportunities, and other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students
- Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to work effectively with student-athletes
- Previous soccer experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach with planning and implementation of daily practices
- Coordination of operations, planning travel, per diem, meals and itineraries
- Contribute to weekly staff meetings
- Recruiting - In collaboration with the head coach
- Coaching - In collaboration with the head coach
- Coordinating community service opportunities
- Assist with the management of equipment and travel
- Assist with NCAA compliance reporting and academic monitoring
- Other duties as assigned
