About The Position
Wingate University Women’s Lacrosse is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Assistant to join our coaching staff. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong experience on the offensive end and draw control unit, who is looking to grow in the coaching profession while pursuing a master’s degree.
Requirements
- Collegiate playing or coaching experience (offense and/or draw preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for coaching and player development
- Acceptance into a graduate program at Wingate University
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and running offensive drills and game preparation
- Lead development of the draw unit (technique, strategy, scouting)
- Film breakdown and opponent scouting
- On-field coaching during practices and games
- Assist with recruiting, travel, and program operations
- Support player development both on and off the field
