About The Position
This position involves assisting Dr. Rahman with research in Software Engineering and Data Mining. The responsibilities include researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs, reading research papers, analyzing problems and generating solutions, browsing GitHub repositories for data collection, applying data mining and machine learning techniques, writing efficient scripts, determining operational practicality, developing quality assurance procedures, deploying software tools, processes, and metrics, maintaining and upgrading existing systems, and collaborating with other developers and the professor. Excellent English writing skills are required. The role also involves presenting the outcomes of the experience at Celebrate Gannon and/or other college-determined venues.
Requirements
- Graduate student
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Python
- Excellent writing skill in English
- Multi-task well in a fast-paced autonomous environment
- Prioritize and complete tasks to accomplish organizational goals
