Graduate Assistant - OSIL
About The Position
The Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement & Leadership (SIL) position oversees the A6/SIL welcome desk, coordinates the resource room, and assists with special projects. The GA will develop knowledge and skills in program coordination, student advising, budgeting, and assessment. This role contributes significantly to the overall operation of SIL and will be supervised by the Director for SIL. This position will develop UA Career-Ready skills such as leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and professionalism. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Enrollment in the Graduate College at the University of Arkansas

- Event coordination as an undergraduate student
