About The Position
Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for baseball. The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach, supporting student-athletes at SRSU.
Requirements
- Must be a qualified applicant for a graduate assistant position
- Must work closely with the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others
- Must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times
Responsibilities
- Assist in practice and game planning and preparation
- Field maintenance
- Assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes
- Support of student-athlete success on the field and in the classroom
- Hospitality
- Travel management
- Game operations
- Other duties as assigned
