About The Position

Chatham University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the President’s Athletic Conference (PAC) and the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), is seeking applications for a Game Management Intern for its Athletics Department. This position is a 2-year appointment and includes a stipend and a waiver for graduate school. The successful candidate must pursue a Master's degree within the approved majors at Chatham University.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to act proactively and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong, courteous customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated initiative and flexibility
• Knowledgeable of functions and usage of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.)
• A valid driver's License and driving record, which meets institutional requirements
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and maintain a flexible schedule
• Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
• Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of game day events
• Serve as on-site administrator for home contests when needed
• Manage and oversee other game management staff
• Assist with the set up and tear-down preparation on game days
• Attend office hours during the week to gain experience
• Other duties assigned
