About The Position

Chatham University is an NCAA division III institution member of the President’s Athletic Conference (PAC) and the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), seeks applications for a game management intern for their athletics department. This position is a 2-year appointment and comes with a stipend and waiver for graduate school.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to act proactively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong, courteous customer service skills are a must.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated initiative and flexibility.
• Knowledgeable of functions and usage of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc..)
• A valid driver’s License and driving record, which meets institutional requirements, required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Must pursue a Master’s degree within the approved majors within the Chatham University Graduate School.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of game day events
• Serve as on-site administrator for home contests when needed
• Manage and oversee other game management staff
• Assist with the set up and tear-down preparation on game days
• Attend office hours during the week to gain experience
• Other duties assigned
