About The Position

This is a two-year Graduate Assistant position for Men's Hockey at Franklin Pierce University. The role involves assisting the head coach with various aspects of the program, including recruiting, practice planning, player development, academic monitoring, team operations, social media, and administrative duties. The position requires an undergraduate degree and acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree required
Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA or Junior playing experience required
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players
Acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University

Responsibilities

On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
Assist with Fundraising activities
Assist with practice planning and implementation
Primary on-ice focus with team’s defensemen and goaltenders, but will work with all positions
Monitoring of academics and study halls
Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
Team Social Media/Video program
Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations
Administrative duties as assigned by the head coach.
