The Department of Special Education and Counseling seeks graduate students as applicants for Graduate Assistant. This position is opened until filled. The anticipated appointment dates are Fall 2026 (August 21, 2026 – December 23, 2026) and Spring 2027 (January 21, 2027– May 29, 2027). Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester. Under the general supervision of a faculty member, the Graduate Assistant will provide professional non-teaching assistance, research assistance, and practical experience related to their advanced study. Responsibilities may include assisting with handling or training others in the use of equipment or resources, assisting faculty with research and preparation of course materials, participating in the evaluation of student work, and tutoring students. The specific duties will depend on the assigned area and the needs of the faculty supervisor.
