About The Position
The Graduate Apprentice Trainee supports quality-related work in the manufacturing and supplier-quality context. The role involves investigating concerns reported from manufacturing, coordinating containment and corrective actions, monitoring supplier rejections, and supporting audits and regular issue-review meetings. The trainee also guides and monitors associates in their daily work.
Requirements
- BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience working in BIW shops.
Nice To Haves
- Automobile industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis of concerns reported from manufacturing.
- Arrange containment actions when supplier parts fail.
- Communicate concerns to the respective officer.
- Ensure action planning for issues raised from manufacturing.
- Ensure issues are closed by regularly updating them in various forums.
- Certify supplier rejections and monitor their disposal.
- Work to reduce concerns reported from manufacturing lines.
- Ensure adherence to guidelines related to SQA functioning in the assigned area.
- Ensure HSPP audits for parts in the assigned area.
- Participate in daily RFI/NOVA-C and LSP meetings, analyze concerns, and reach conclusions.
- Guide and monitor associates in their daily work.
